“Morning Tea”
by Deborah Gregg
Ah, morning tea. In a shady nook of the garden, where the cool of the night lingers long into the morning hours, the busy garden fairies take their morning tea break. The gentle mushrooms, lending their tops for a resting place for the tiny, winged creatures, join them in a cup….or two. A needed pick me up for all.. Ice tea and mulberry cakes have replaced high tea in the hot afternoons now, at least until the weather turns cool again.God Bless Gardens.(even when they are hot and so humid!)
A tiny, primitive style folk art painting, done with acrylics on acid free,140 lb. watercolor paper. Has a protective finish, signed on front and back.An ACEO ( Art Cards, Editions and Originals ) This piece measures a tiny, 2.5″ tall and 3.5″ wide (image shown is larger than the actual painting).
