“The Red Wagon Express”
by Deborah Gregg
“Great Grandma and her best friend, Cora Crow, always come for the holidays. Still living well on her own in a small cabin in the woods, but for a few years now, walking when its cold has been a challenge. So the trusty red wagon has a new function. Transportation from her house to ours! With Thor, our black Lab in charge of security, Claire tucked in the back, Great Grandma in charge of the lantern, David pushing ( also acting as a break) and Cora jabbering away ( she’s a bit excited, pumpkin pie is her favorite and she knows one is always baked just for her!) on her head, we make our way along the dirt path. The wind is still as a soft snow begins to fall. And our world is transformed into a Christmas card. Peace On Earth and Happy Holidays!! :) This is a tiny aceo, art card. Measuring 2 1/2″ by 3 1/2″. Painted with acrylics on 140 lb acid free watercolor paper. If you would like one just like it, I can paint you one for $42.00 Have an amazing day! :) ![]()
