This year the Valentine party for the flock will be in the warm and toasty garden shed. For the moment they have turned it into a factory of sorts. The ones assigned to the assembly line for decorating the many cupcakes ( a flock favorite) needed for the get together are serious about this…..as serious as sheep can be that is. Never mind the tell tale sprinkles on muzzles, cinnamon hearts worn as hair ornaments, and more than a few of these and whole cupcakes disappearing. Not to mention all the goodies falling on the floor (the chickens love the mess! ). Because when all is said and done the results are beautiful and scrumptious! Happy Valentines Day from the flock! …and me. :) A tiny, primitive style folk art painting, done with acrylics on acid free,140 lb. watercolor paper. Back in time when true love was often put aside, two people meet at the edge of the woods.They are so right for each other, but their families would disapprove and keep them apart if they knew. They make plans there in the light of the full moon to elope and come what may, they will be together. P.S. They did indeed follow their hearts and lived happily ever after…and so did their 10 children! :)  This is a tiny aceo, art card. Measuring 2 1/2″  by 3 1/2″. Bigger is not always better, but when its comes to a box of Valentine chocolates it is! Yes, he knows her very well, once again he comes through shining. :) This is a tiny aceo, art card.
