“Spring Peas Make a Bad Decision!”

It didn’t look that far. They thought they would have plenty of time to walk across the field. And so they went off for that visit at the neighboring farm. But the Blizzard came faster than predicted and caught the little peas out in the open. And so here they are, in peril. A very tough situation indeed. But the end of this story is happy (of course!) The resident mice of the winter fields heard their little pea voices and popped up out of their holes and led them down under the snow, into the warm, cozy, earth caves and there they stayed until the storm was over. Yes they have learned their lesson, especially since the mice went on and on and on about it! Never take chances with the winter weather.
