“Delicate Operation”

by Deborah Gregg
It immediately showed promise as a tiny green baby and they have been caring for it daily since. Now it truly is on its way to winning the blue ribbon for the flock in the “Biggest Pumpkin” competition at the Harvest Festival. Its serious business at this delicate stage. Eleanor checks its “life force” with her stethoscope, Harold gives it more liquid nutrition, Mable keeps its orange, smooth surface free of dirt, Marvin is settling in for night watchman detail, equipped with a strong cup of coffee, and last but not least, Junior is on the hunt ( using his trusty little red flashlight ) for possible threats by bugs up to no good. An impressive group, Master gardeners all! A tiny, primitive style folk art painting, done with acrylics on acid free,140 lb. watercolor paper. Has a protective finish, signed on front and back.An ACEO ( Art Cards, Editions and Originals ) This piece measures a tiny, 2.5″ tall and 3.5″ wide (image shown is larger than the actual painting). Copyright notice on piece is on digital image only, not on actual painting. I would love to paint this again . Price is 69.50 this includes shipping.

“The Pumpkin Heist” by Deborah Gregg Halloween is just around the corner and the cats really really wanted a pumpkin of their own this year. The patch down the road was full of them. Beautiful big ones too. It didn’t occur to them that it was the pride and joy of the witch who lives there. They made their plan and sure enough. It could not have been easier! They joyfully marched along with their big orange pumpkin, unaware that the Witch watched the whole thing ( the bright lantern helped, Ha! ). Lucky little group, she loves Halloween and her precious pumpkins, but she also loves cats! This small painting is done with acrylics on 140 lb, acid free watercolor paper with acrylics. it has a protective finish and measures 4″ tall by 6″ long. (It is best matted and framed, not included) The copyright notice is on the digital image only, not on the actual painting. The original was recently sold on Etsy. I would be happy to paint one for you for $62.00 . This includes shipping and insurance. Have a Wonderful Day!

The wonderful Earthy autumn months are just as good a time for love to bloom as the Spring. Everyone feels good with the cupboards full, looking to get cozy….all creatures come together then looking for safe shelter, storing up food, working with each other to make it through another winter. And the Wizard has fallen for the Witch. Love blossomed in the light of the full Harvest Moon. And a side note: love has also happened to a pair of round little pumpkins. I know…you wouldn’t think…and two black cats. Love is everywhere! A tiny, primitive style folk art painting, done with acrylics on acid free,140 lb. watercolor paper. “I Think That’s a Real Witch!”

by Deborah Gregg
You must keep your wits about you in this neighborhood on Halloween night. As the children go around collecting goodies a Witch passing through decides to give the kids a good scare by flying low over the trees and cackling as loud as she’s able. And the gentle Moon smiles sweetly for she knows that this particular Witch is really quite harmless, in fact she’s on her way to the annual ” Birdwatchers of the Boonies Marshmallow Roast”! I know…sounds like good times.. :)  A tiny, primitive style folk art painting, done with acrylics on acid free,140 lb. watercolor paper. “October Willow In The Wind”

by Deborah Gregg
When the October winds kick up the group (and at this time of year the jolly Jack ‘O Lanterns are always welcome!) gathers under the big Willow on the hill and take turns swinging their cares away. Simple things are the best. :)

What a day!! The flock has taken the Blue Ribbon for the biggest pumpkin at the annual Pumpkin Weigh Off! It was quite an ordeal getting it there and now it’s quite an ordeal getting it home… but they are all so happy and proud they don’t mind a bit. They all put in a lot of hard work to grow this beauty from a tiny green baby to the giant prize winner that it has become. Oh and Aunt Hatty’s book…”Pumpkin Recipes For All Seasons” will be well used this winter!! :)

by Deborah Gregg

Hazel is just about ready for customers. Her cupcakes, rich, luscious and beautifully decorated, are anticipated all year and she’s been cooking all day in her outdoor oven. Of course she works for months perfecting the secret recipe (handed down to her by her great Aunt “Double Wide Witch Wanda”) and supported, as you can see by their rotund shapes, by her two constant companions. She really should charge more…but maybe it’s best for this little group if there aren’t any leftovers! ha! :) This is an aceo  (an art card). Painted on 140 lb. watercolor paper with acrylics. It measures a tiny 2 1/2″ by 3 1/2″. I would love to paint one just like this one for you! price is 57.00. This includes postage and insurance. Have a great day!! :)  :)  :)

The Crows nest sits high in a tree looking out over the peaceful countryside.Every year the crows decorate their home sweet home for the different seasons. Jack be Little ( these tiny pumpkins are just the right size for the crows) Jack O’ lanterns and golden star garland is just the thing to ward off those chilly Autumn nights! Looks Good Guys! :) (~~)

The chilly air is filled with the last of the beautiful Autumn leaves and the very first snow flakes of winter. Gather up the last sugar pumpkin from the patch to make some holiday pies and celebrate the change of seasons.Stay warm! :)

The pumpkin was beautiful….the best one in the patch. Of course they both saw it at the same moment and thats when the trouble started. Thank goodness that was one tough pumpkin! It out lasted that little witch dust up and lived to tell the tale on All Hallows Eve! :) A tiny, primitive style folk art painting, done with acrylics on acid free,140 lb. watercolor paper.
