"Hand Over The Popcorn If You Want To Live," a Small Sheep Pigeons City Park PRINT by Deborah Gregg
"Hand Over The Popcorn If You Want To Live" a PRINT by Deborah Gregg
Margaret wasn't sure she heard that correctly at first...but then they said it again. No mistake, the band of ruffian pigeons wanted the popcorn or else. The summer morning was so crisp and fresh, members of the flock had decided to take a walk in the park near the farm, and were just taking a break when the bully birds showed up. They were doing some general harassment (messing with hairdos, sticking on with their little feet and refusing to get off...which is kind of creepy...and tossing out insulting language for no good reason, causing Edweena to give one of them a good talking to!) until Margaret came along with fresh popcorn, and then things turned ugly. But thank goodness Marvin was along, he worked out an agreement of sorts: the pigeons would leave them be and they in return would get half the popcorn. Margaret knows she eats too much of the stuff anyway. :0)
