Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have any originals available?
Unfortunately no. Some recent health issues, including the development of a significant tremor on my right side, have made it difficult to paint. New paintings are on hold for the time being.
Are your prints available in larger sizes?
The sizes listed for each print are as large as they can be. Most of my paintings were "small format art" as originals and so they must be as prints also -- they just don't look right when enlarged past a certain point. Also for some I'm limited by digital file sizes.
Do you sell digital downloads or files of your prints?
Nope, I don't sell digital versions of my work -- only physical prints in the sizes they are listed.
What is an ACEO?
ACEO stands for "art cards, editions and originals" and they are a special type of small format art. They measure approximately 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" and frame up nicely with mats in 4x6 or 5x7 frames. I painted quite of few of these tiny scenes over the years!
Do you sell note cards or Christmas cards?
Not at this time. We haven't been able to find a supplier yet that "checks off all the boxes" on how I would like to do it. Maybe someday!
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Unfortunately we don't offer returns or exchanges for the prints as they are just too delicate to pass through so many hands. All prints are final sale.
I came for a print I saw online but I don't see it here in the shop. Can I still buy it?
All of the prints currently available are listed here in this shop. There are a few we still hope to find (including the girl pulling an apple cart!) but that's easier said than done with digital files and old computer hard drives. Also there are some cases where images shared on Pinterest and elsewhere are of originals that were painted and sold years ago, before I was even getting digital image files and making prints.
Do you ship internationally?
Smaller prints = Yes, Larger prints = Not really.
Prints small enough to travel in a greeting card (aceo, 3x4, and 5x7) are available internationally. You can browse all of the prints available for international shipment here. Larger prints (6x6" and up) require more substantial packaging and unfortunately that changes the postage category and increases shipping costs exponentially (often to more than the prints cost themselves!). The shipping is so unreasonable we don't offer international shipment for those on the website. If you're still interested though you can email us at info@chicoryskies.com and we can talk details and get a shipping quote specific to you.
Who do I contact if I have a problem with my order?
Well hopefully there are zero problems! We aim for happy print buyers here. But if something does come up send an email to info@chicoryskies.com and we'll figure it out.
